Pamela Bach, Ex-Wife of David Hasselhoff, Arrested for DUI

Pamela Bach, former wife of actor David Hasselhoff, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on the 101 freeway near Laurel Canyon Blvd. in southern California, according to People.com. Police say Bach showed blood-alcohol levels of .14 and .13 on a breathalyzer test.

This is Bach’s second DUI arrest, as she was picked up on a felony DUI in Los Angeles last March. She pleaded no contest in August and was placed on three years of informal probation, court records show. She was also ordered to enter a treatment program and not drive with any measurable amount of alcohol in her system.

Bach was charged with a misdemeanor hit-and-run in 2007, but the charges were dropped when she agreed to pay minor damages to the woman whose car she hit.

Meanwhile, Hasselhoff has just been released from the hospital after a two-day stay that raised eyebrows, considering the former Baywatch star’s problems with alcohol abuse.

It was initially reported that Hasselhoff had suffered a seizure at his home in Encino, Ca., but his attorney, Mel Goldsman, later declined to confirm the nature of his illness to People.com.

A fire department spokesman confirmed that paramedics responded to a call for medical help at 11:51 a.m. RadarOnline.com reported at the time that Hasselhoff’s daughter, Hayley, had called 911. Hasselhoff was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Hasselhoff has a history of alcoholism, and had allegedly been drinking in the past week. He was hospitalized in late September due to alcohol poisoning after taping a season of "America’s Got Talent.” In November he appeared drunk while serving as a presenter during the MTV Europe Music Awards.
