PSA’s against drugs don’t work, saying that “this study has shown that…blah blah blah” simply contradicts what one observes in everyday culture.
when a theory contradicts reality, the theory must be thrown out.
but Americans seem to throw reality out, and keep the theory.
The fact is that the U.S has a drug problem, because of ignorance, specially given by companies, by putting this pointless PSA’s dealing simply with shock value, and as every decently intelligent person knows, shock value starts loosing power on people after it is used too much.
“a single PSA probably won’t change anyone’s mind. But repetition of the message can be instrumental in helping to curb drug and alcohol abuse.” that is called brain washing, whether it is done for a good or bad cause, it’s still brain washing, and it is creating dumb generations, the best thing, give the facts clearly, and say things how are…
personally I don’t trust American Governmental studies because they are known worldwide to be biased, the best studies are European ones, that so far have helped the reduction of substance abuse…
Knowledge is freedom.
I know I will be called a junky for arguing against this propaganda, but I hate how it’s shown on T.V “Youth’s using less drugs” when I hear everyday of “kids getting busted with drugs at school”.
do this for the sake of the Youth, not for the sake of your pocket.

Regulation is the answer, not prohibition. If cannabis was properly regulated, then people wouldn’t be turning to alternatives like Spice. This is the work of all addicts and alcoholics, in each of these the primary success is working the steps, going to meetings and helping another alcoholic or drug addict. Helping others is pretty important and can help with depression as well as addiction.
