The friend, asking few questions and anxious to try something new, accepts the offer and joins the party. Often, when dangerous side effects or an accidental overdose take place, the user has no idea what substance they’ve used. This scenario often plays out when a new drug hits the streets.

FDA Approves Vivitrol for Opiate Addiction Treatment

Legislators in Baltimore County, Maryland recently banned a synthetic form of marijuana called “Spice” or “K2”. Those who are found to have sold, possessed or distributed the drug could face up to 60 days in jail, a $500 fine and will be guilty of a misdemeanor. Various cities and states across the US have already banned the substance.

Nikki Haley is calling for all of the state’s unemployed workers to undergo drug testing before being approved to receive unemployment benefits; South Carolina’s unemployment rate stands at eleven percent.
